Old Business:
Minutes from the 6/2/10 meeting were approved with the following amendments:
Swim Lessons in July will be the 12th- 16th.
Complaint filed by Gary O’Brien’s attorney Re: mowing bid
It was a Section 4 bid.
The Inspector General will not pursue the complaint.
Beach:
The lifeguards will rinse the floor of the Porta-Potty every morning.
Porta-Potty will now be serviced twice a week. They will also put in air fresheners.
Bettina to get new receptacle for toys at the beach and recyclables at the ball field and a bucket for the lifeguards to rinse the floor of the Porta-potty.
Movie Night
Monterey Movie Night- August 7, 2010 8:30 PM- Star Wars
Josh asked Melissa for a mailing list. (labels)
Josh’s brother will create a flyer.
Lifeguards will stuff the flyers and put on the labels as part of their rainy day activities.
An ad will go in the August Monterey News and the Shoppers Guide.(2 weeks)
Josh will go to Costco to purchase candy, soda and bug spray.
Other Business:
Josh to send an email to Valerie Zantay asking about the skating rink to see if there is anything which needs to be repaired.
